Ducati presents its off-road motorcycle, DesertX

Ducati officially unveiled its new DesertX off-road motorcycle, a rugged and stylish offering inspired by Dakar rally and enduro motorcycles of the 1980s, following a widespread positive response to its concept model in 2019.

The DesertX uses an all-new steel trellis chassis and is fitted with 21-inch front and 18-inch rear rims with Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tires. While Enduro and Rally modes are specifically dedicated to off-road riding, other modes are available for easy and comfortable driving during commuting. A 5-inch TFT screen allows easy adjustment of driving aids, including engine breakage control, traction control traction control and cornering ABS. Compared to the Multistrada 1260 Enduro which was Ducati’s previous entry-level all-terrain bike, the DesertX costs $ 5,000 less and weighs 50 pounds less while sporting a clean, modern premium aesthetic.

The Ducati DesertX starts at $ 16,795 USD and can now be configured on the Ducati website. The bikes will arrive at dealers from June 2022. Check out the new offer in the intro video detailed below.
