National Dragster Year in Review issue spotlights 2021 champions, big moments

The NHRA Finals National Dragster of 2021, the annual issue of the year in review, is now online digitally and mailed in its traditional print format to NHRA members around the world.

The National Dragster the staff concludes the fabulous NHRA 70th anniversary season with a wall-to-guard look at the 2021 season, capturing all the magic, chaos and wonder of a rebound year after the 2020 campaign on pandemic break.

Every championship, from Top Fuel to Top Sportsman and Pro Mod to Factory Stock, has been dissected and analyzed with comments from the champion on how he reached that peak of his career. From Steve Torrence’s dominating season in Top Fuel to Alcohol class slugouts between Rachel Meyer and Jackie Fricke and Sean Bellemeur and Doug Gordon to Jimmy Lewis’ hikes across the country to win a second title, it’s all there.

We also have our annual The Year in Photos feature, showcasing some of the terrific and revealing footage of the season, a look back at the season’s most memorable moments, and our tribute to some of the racing heroes we lost in 2021.

You’ll also find a comprehensive list of the top earning points in each class, photos of highlights from the SEMA Show and NHRA Awards Ceremony, and full coverage of the Dodge // SRT NHRA season-end Camping National Championships. Las Vegas World and Auto Club NHRA Finals, plus coverage of NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series races and open national tracks.
