Okaya Electric Vehicle Launches Faast High Speed ​​Electric Scooter


Okaya Electric Vehicle announced on Friday that it had launched the Faast high-speed electric scooter at an introductory price of Rs 89,999 (before subsidies) at the EV Expo 21 held in Greater Noida. The company also announced the opening of bookings with an upfront payment of Rs 1,999 through the Okaya EV website or at dealerships, it said in a statement.

In addition, Okaya also showcased its upcoming Ferrato e-moto, which is expected to launch in the second quarter of FY22.

The IoT-enabled electric scooter offers a top speed of 60-70 km / h and a range of 150-200 km per charge, depending on use. It comes with features and specifications like a 4.4kW lithium phosphate battery, all LED lights, a digital dashboard, daytime running lights and a combined brake system, the company said.

Okaya has already become a key player in this segment, creating the much needed fast charging infrastructure for these electric scooters, he added.

Faast, with its performance specs and features, has managed to hit the best spot in the market, directly challenging its gasoline-powered counterparts, the company said.
