Police are looking for the identity of the biker who alarmed Tintwistle residents

Derbyshire Police want to know the identity of the driver or owner of an off-road type motorcycle which alarmed residents of Tintwistle on Friday 17th September.

PCSO Brian Buller tweeted: “We have received several reports of an annoying off-road type motorcycle being driven around Tinwtistle today. The vehicle was reported to be driving on the sidewalk and grassy edges and also described as turning noisily.

“It also caused annoyance, worry and alarm to residents. The vehicle is described as a red and yellow all-terrain type motorcycle without a license plate.

“The runner is said to be in his late teens, wearing a camouflage puffa style jacket, gray sweatpants and black sneakers with a black Nike backpack.”

A resident provided police with a photo of the vehicle and the man driving it.
